Prototype kerbstones made from recycled plastic waste in Lancashire have been tested for durability over the last two years in several Lancashire locations and in Blackpool.  They have performed very well and the “Lancashire Kerb” will go into full time production by Salvtech Ltd before Christmas thus making good use of Lancashire waste.  “What is more when they reach the end of life they can be recycled into more kerbs so everyone’s efforts in recycling have been well worth it” says County Cllr Bill Winlow.
