Lib Dems take the lead in protecting Tulketh

Liberal Democrats in Preston Council as well as your local Tulketh Focus team are calling on Lancashire Constabulary to keep the 52 PCSOs that operate in Preston. PCSOs are currently jointly funded by the local councils and the police force.

The Preston LibDems have made saving PCSOs as one of our top priorities as the effects of Labour’s overspending and recession are now hitting home in Preston.

The Labour Government was spending £1,000 every second on debt interest and because of that reckless overspending every department, except education and health, has had to take some of the cuts. We, the Liberal Democrats, will do everything in our power locally to make sure that the great work done by our local PSCOs continues.
